During the past four years, I have engaged Carl three times to identify and attract several new members of our Client Services team. Simply speaking, these are sales positions; however, the individuals who are successful in these roles possess a wide variety of skills and experiences which are not readily available in the marketplace. Furthermore, our organization has gone through some recent changes which have placed an even greater importance on the people in these positions and our need for them to be successful.
Carl worked closely with our Client Services team and me to ensure his understanding of our needs. His communications with all of us at the beginning of each assignment and throughout the process enabled him to present only viable individuals rather than a large number of inappropriate or unqualified candidates. He is especially successful in identifying and attracting those professionals who "fit" within our organization from a personality standpoint.
Carl has done an outstanding job of identifying and attracting candidates in our Director of Client Services positions throughout the country. Even though we have hired several individuals for similar roles, each regional director represented a unique search in a new market. Carl went into each region and found the people who will be instrumental to our continued growth. In addition, Carl is not restricted by existing client relationships which prevent him from thoroughly evaluating the candidates in organizations which we wish to pursue. We know that we are getting a complete, objective search of the marketplace when we engage Carl.
In many cases, we are interested in attracting candidates who may not be performing in the same capacity at their current company. Carl does an outstanding job of identifying these people, explaining our company and position, selling them on the benefits and opportunities associated with being a part of our team, and working closely with the candidates and us to transition the person to our group.
We are extremely pleased with the reaction of the candidates we interview regarding the manner in which they have been treated by Carl. He is very professional in the way he represents our company, and he makes sure that each candidate (successful and unsuccessful) has a positive experience with Bright Horizons. Most of the candidates presented by Carl indicate that their interface with him is the most positive experience they have ever had with a recruiter.
